Aims

Co-create a survey to evaluate Young People’s Mental Health

This survey aims to capture individual dimensions and contextual and socio-economic determinants of what makes us vulnerable and what makes us “break”. This survey will then be available for monitoring practices and policies.

Democratize and Share Knowledge About Mental Health

We’re going to share what we learn with everyone. And most of all, we want to learn with everyone. This is not a one-way project. We want to be close to people and produce science that responds to their challenges, with sensitivity and kindness, adopting a human rights framework as critical. Inspire the development of public policies by producing significant and valuable knowledge for people’s lives. This aim requires intentional departure both from a research perspective exclusively framed by an individual/psychological perspective that neglects contextual and sociocultural dimensions and from a research attitude that disregards the crucial role of science as a social justice instrument.
